Ex Demo Pilates Reformer for Sale
Ex demo Pilates reformers for sale in Sydney
Want a premium reformer without paying full new price? Pilates Direct is an Australian owned and operated supplier with ex demo and used machines for home or studio. See what's in stock now, or visit our Sydney showroom and try one first.
What is an ex demo Pilates reformer?
An ex demo Pilates reformer is a machine that has been used for display or showroom trials rather than sold brand new. We list these units in our Second Hand Pilates Reformers: Used & Demo Machines collection, usually at a lower price than a new equivalent.
That makes ex demo stock a practical way into a premium-quality reformer pilates machine without paying full retail. Because these units have been handled before, read the listing details carefully and test the machine in person where you can.
The trade-off is availability. Each model is a single unit or a small run, so stock changes as machines sell. If a reformer suits you, it's worth moving on it rather than waiting.

Try before you buy at our Sydney showroom
Our Sydney showroom is a practical way to judge an ex demo reformer. You can step on, move through the carriage and see how it feels long before you commit.
A machine that looks right online can feel quite different once you are on it. Height, spring tension, footbar position and overall footprint all matter, and they are much easier to judge in person.
Our team can talk through your space, whether it's a home or studio, and who will be using the reformer. Check which ex demo reformers are currently on the floor before you visit.
What to know about warranty, delivery and pickup
Warranty on ex demo models
Ex demo models carry a 1 month warranty. That applies to ex demo and used stock only, so new reformers and accessories may come with different terms, which our team can confirm before you buy.
Delivery and pickup for ex demo stock
Ex demo equipment is available to local customers only, with Greater Sydney delivery or pickup. If you're outside Greater Sydney, ask us whether a particular machine can be arranged, or look at our new range instead. You can see this local-only note on listings such as the wunda chair.

Door-to-door delivery and setup for other orders
For online buyers of new equipment, we offer door-to-door delivery with a range of options and can talk you through setup. Terms differ between ex demo and new stock, so check the product page or ask us which applies to your pick.
Can I use a payment plan on a demo reformer?
It depends on the model. Our payment plan covers a selection of foldable reformers in the payment plan collection, and those are the machines you can spread the cost of straight away. Demo stock is not automatically included, so check with us first.
If the reformer you want is not in that collection, including a model from our used and demo range, our team can tell you whether a plan can be arranged. We would rather confirm it with you directly than leave you guessing.
A plan suits people who want to start a home practice now rather than save first, particularly if they are already paying for studio classes and would rather put that spend towards their own equipment.
Ex demo reformer questions, answered
Can I use an ex demo reformer at home or in a studio?
Both are possible, but it depends on the unit. Our used and demo collection includes foldable models suited to home use. Studio owners should speak to our commercial team about equipment selection.
How do I check what's in stock?
Stock changes, so the collection page is the quickest guide. For a specific unit, ask our Sydney team.
Do I need to learn with an instructor?
We recommend it. Proper form and qualified instruction matter on any reformer, new or ex demo, and an instructor can guide your setup and technique.
Do I need clearance if I'm returning from an injury?
Yes, please check with your physiotherapist or doctor before using any reformer.
