What a half trapeze reformer adds to your practice
A reformer carriage with a tower at one end
A half trapeze reformer is a studio-quality reformer carriage with an upright tower fixed at the foot end. That tower gives you a push-through bar and extra spring positions, while every usual reformer exercise stays available on the carriage.
It suits home practitioners, boutique studios and clinics that want more variety without the overhead height of a full trapeze.
The extra exercises it opens up
The pilates tower adds push-through bar work, roll-downs, standing spring work, and arm and leg spring series. Learning these movements properly matters, so we always suggest working with a qualified instructor, especially when you are starting out.
Start with how you'll actually use it, then pick the reformer that fits your space and your budget.

Who it suits
If you want more exercise range than a standard reformer offers, but you do not have ceiling height for hanging work, this is usually the sensible middle ground. It is a good fit for a dedicated home practice or a small studio that wants to grow its class repertoire.
The tower we have back in stock
The half trapeze reformer tower is made for commercial, professional and private use, so it suits a home or studio setup.
The tower is brushed stainless steel with an automotive-grade finish. The contact area is vulcanised rubber that resists sweat and is easy to grip. The frame is knot-less reforested wood with a satin matte finish, so the timber is sustainably sourced.
You can see how it is built at our Sydney showroom, where you can try it before you buy.
What comes with it
The tower ships with the accessories below, so you can set up without hunting for extras.
- Hand and foot straps (pair)
- Handles (pair) and an abdomen handle
- Safety strap
- Jump board
- Roll-down bar and extension
- 13 springs
- 21 carabiners
- Unique rope system
Will it fit your space and your clients?
Yes, for many home and studio spaces. A half trapeze reformer needs about the same floor space as a standard studio reformer, roughly 250cm x 70cm, so you only need to find room for the carriage and a little clearance around it.
The tower is the real space saver. It stands 160-180cm high, where a full trapeze table with hanging work needs 220cm or more, so standard ceilings are rarely a problem.
That makes it a good fit for home studios, boutique studios and physiotherapy clinics. Clinics use the push-through bar and spring system for spinal mobilisation and assisted standing work. Anyone recovering from an injury should get clearance from a physiotherapist or doctor first.

Half trapeze or full trapeze?
Choose a half trapeze reformer if you want bar and spring work from a fixed upright tower at one end. Choose a full trapeze if you want a frame that runs the whole length overhead for hanging exercises, supported inversions and a broader classical repertoire.
The height difference is the practical deciding factor: about 160-180cm for the half trapeze against 220cm or more for a full trapeze. If you're unsure which suits your room and your clients, our team can talk it through with you.
Questions we hear about half trapeze reformers
Is the half trapeze reformer actually in stock?
Yes. The half trapeze reformer tower is currently listed as back in stock, with limited supply. Stock moves, so the product page shows the live status.
Will the tower fit my existing reformer?
Not always. Most towers are built for specific reformer models or frame configurations, so end-cap design and frame dimensions matter. Check the product listing or ask our team before you buy.
Which accessories work with it?
A Pilates box, hand straps and rings suit half trapeze training. Extra spring attachments and fuzzy straps may be available for certain tower models. Proper form and qualified instruction matter with any of them.
Where can I get help choosing?
Our Sydney showroom lets you try before you buy, and our team can talk through delivery and installation, rent-to-own and payment plan options.
