Maple Studio Reformer
Maple studio reformers built for daily use
Pilates Direct is Australian owned and operated, and our Canadian Maplewood range comes in two models: the MP-01 and the MP-03. Choose one for your studio or serious home setup, with expert advice and flexible ways to buy.

What makes a maple studio reformer different from a home reformer?
Built for volume, not just regular use
A home reformer usually sees three or four sessions a week from one or two people. A maple studio reformer in a studio, gym or physio clinic can see ten or more different clients a day, for years.
That difference shapes the whole machine. Our MP-03 Commercial Reformer is a Canadian Maplewood design with commercial-grade springs and a smooth-glide carriage, made for exactly that kind of workload.
What you get in a studio-grade frame
These are the features that matter when a reformer is shared by many people:
- Rigid, non-folding frame: with no hinge, there is nothing to develop play over time.
- Continuous rail: keeps the glide consistent under heavy, repeated use.
- Higher weight capacity: suits a wider range of clients.
- Commercial warranty: written around daily wear, where home warranties are commonly shorter and consumer-grade.
Start with how you'll actually use it, then pick the reformer that fits your space and your budget.

Choosing between studio and foldable
If you have the room for a permanent setup, a non-folding machine suits a studio or a dedicated home space. If space is tight, a foldable reformer range may fit better. Our guide to commercial vs home reformers walks through the trade-offs in more detail.
MP-01 and MP-03: how our two maple reformers compare
Both are Canadian Maplewood studio reformers, so the choice comes down to build details and what arrives in the box. The MP-01 uses a rail structure for a smooth, stable carriage ride, with multiple stopper holes along the frame so you can extend or limit the carriage range. It pairs a light maple finish with black upholstery.
The MP-03 Commercial Reformer has commercial-grade springs and a smooth-glide carriage with high-density foam. It sits slightly higher off the floor and has a wider frame than the MP-01.
The MP-03 bundle adds a large sitting box, jumpboard, standing platforms, footstrap, ropes and handstraps. It is limited to one bundle deal per customer.
You can try either at our Sydney showroom. Proper form and qualified instruction matter on any reformer.
Questions we hear about studio reformers
Can I use a maple studio reformer at home?
Yes, if you have the room. The MP-03 is aimed at studios, clinics and home spaces, for users of all sizes. It doesn't fold, so it needs a permanent spot. If space is tight, our foldable range may suit better.
Do warranty terms differ by category?
They do. Home reformers commonly carry shorter, consumer-grade terms, while commercial warranties are written around daily wear. Check the product page for the terms that apply to the model you're considering.
Should I rent or buy outright?
Renting suits studios still settling on client numbers or trialling equipment. Buying outright suits a studio confident in its long-term needs. We also offer rent-to-own and payment plan options, so you can match the choice to your situation.
I'm returning from an injury. Can I just start?
Please see your physiotherapist or doctor for clearance first, and train under a qualified instructor. Equipment can't replace that advice.
