Buy a Pilates reformer machine online from a Sydney team
Who we are and what we stock
Pilates Direct is Australian owned and operated, and we make buying a Pilates reformer machine online straightforward. Our range covers reformers for home and commercial use, so a lounge-room setup and a full studio fit out can both start in the same place.
Beyond reformers, we also supply chairs, barrels and trapeze tables, so you can build out a space over time rather than starting from scratch.
Trusted brands, built to last
We focus on durable, high-quality machines from brands such as Pioneer Pilates and Motion Pilates, which suit both home and studio settings. Sturdy frames and smooth-running carriages matter, because a reformer gets used often and should hold up to it.
Start with how you'll actually use it, then pick the reformer that fits your space and your budget.

Online convenience, with a Sydney team behind it
Ordering online means door-to-door delivery with a variety of affordable options, wherever you are. If you'd rather see a machine first, our Sydney showroom lets you look at reformers, barrels and trapeze tables in person.
Our staff can talk through setup options for your space. Proper form and qualified instruction matter on any reformer bed, so we always suggest learning with a certified instructor.
Three ways in: used, rented or a two-reformer offer
If you're not ready to buy a new machine outright, these are the routes we offer, so you can match the reformer to your budget and the room you have.
- Used and demo reformers: Pioneer Pilates metal and wooden foldable machines, plus Motion Pilates studio models, for a lower-cost way in.
- Rental: hire the Pioneer Pilates PP-07 wooden foldable reformer if you would rather not buy outright.
- Motion Pilates MP-03 two-reformer offer: for a limited time, buy two packages and save $300 per bed while stocks last. Orders of more than 2 reformers go through the store directly, so contact our team.
What to look for when comparing reformers
Look for a footbar and springbar that adjust easily, a rail structure that keeps the carriage stable and smooth, and carriage-stopper holes that let you extend or limit range of motion. The Motion Pilates MP-03 is a good worked example of all three.
On the MP-03, the footbar and springbar system is simple to change between exercises. The rails give a steady, smooth carriage ride, and the multiple stopper holes let you set the carriage travel to suit the person using it.
Motion and Pioneer are both durable options for home or studio use, and the same checklist applies to either.
Common questions before you buy
Should I buy a home reformer or a studio one?
Choose a home model if space and day-to-day use matter most, and a studio-grade machine if several people will use it daily. Our range covers home and commercial use, and brands like Motion and Pioneer suit either.
Is a used or demo reformer a sensible option?
Yes, if you want a lower-cost way in. We list used and demo Pioneer Pilates and Motion Pilates reformers alongside new stock. Check the listing details for condition before you buy.
Should I rent or buy?
Renting suits you if you'd like to try a reformer at home before committing, and the PP-07 above is the machine we rent. If buying outright suits you better, ask us about rent-to-own and payment plan options.
Do I need to visit the showroom first?
You don't have to, but it helps. Our Sydney showroom lets you try before you buy, so you can check the footbar, carriage and overall size against your space. If you're outside Sydney, we can talk through options by phone or email.
I have an injury or health condition. Can I use a reformer?
Please speak to your physiotherapist or doctor for clearance before you start. We can help you choose equipment, but we can't give medical advice or promise any health outcome.
Where can I read more before choosing?
Our beginner home-studio guide covers room layout, accessories and purchase tips in more depth. If you're fitting out a studio, our commercial division looks after studio owners.
