How does delivery work with Pilates Direct?
Nationwide freight, delivered curb-side
We send each order by freight to your address anywhere in Australia. Residential and business orders arrive curb-side, off the truck tailgate, from the carrier chosen for your delivery. The driver brings the box to the edge of your property, so it helps to have a second pair of hands ready.
Track your order for an accurate ETA
Once your order is dispatched, use the carrier's track and trace to see an accurate ETA. We would rather you plan around a real tracking update than a vague estimate, so we don't make speed promises we can't back up. Being an Australian owned and operated supplier means you deal with a local team if anything needs checking along the way.
Check your tracking the day before and plan to be home. A reformer is a valuable item, so the carrier needs a person there to receive it.

The Pioneer Pilates PP-07 is popular because it gives home users a full-size reformer that folds away without fuss. It's a wooden foldable reformer with a beechwood frame and a quiet, smooth carriage ride.
It uses 5 graded steel springs (2 heavy, 2 medium, 1 light), a 6-position padded foot bar and adjustable carriage stoppers for different heights. A sitting box is included.
It folds without lifting it off the floor or removing any parts, and 2 base wheels make it easy to move and store. As with any reformer, proper form and qualified instruction matter, so ask our team about getting started.
What to prepare so delivery goes smoothly
A few small steps on your side keep delivery simple. Here is what we suggest before your reformer is on the truck.
- Be home on delivery day. Your reformer arrives curb-side by truck tailgate, and because of the item's value, the carrier will not leave it at the door.
- Track your shipment. Use the track and trace details from the carrier to get an accurate ETA, so you can plan around it.
- Expect the Sitting Box separately. It ships on its own to your residential address, so allow 2 days between deliveries and tell the carrier if one is missing.
- Confirm your address before dispatch. Changing it afterwards attracts a re-booking fee, and any redelivery is at your cost.
- Know the 5-day depot hold. If you miss the truck, you can collect from the nearest depot at your cost. Goods are held for only 5 days before being returned to sender, so collect as soon as you can.
How quickly can I start using it after it arrives?
Most people can start within about 15 minutes of the reformer bed arriving. Each reformer is hand-assembled and meticulously inspected before it ships, then packed in a box designed to protect it in transit. That means the heavy lifting is done before it reaches you.

What happens if I miss the delivery?
You can pick the reformer up from the nearest depot at your own cost. The depot holds goods for 5 days only before returning them to sender, so collect it as soon as you can. Redelivery is also at your cost.
Will the reformer be left at my door?
No. Because of the value of the item, goods are not left unattended. Delivery is curb-side by truck tailgate, so someone needs to be home to receive it.
What does the Sitting Box delivery look like?
The PP-07 Sitting Box ships separately to your residential address, so it may not arrive with the reformer. Allow 2 days between the two deliveries, and let the carrier know if one hasn't turned up.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. For the PP-07, the plan is an $850 deposit plus shipping (if applicable), then $45.37 weekly for 39 payments at 0% interest. You can view the plan details here.
