Reformer Bed with Free Delivery

Reformer Beds with Free Delivery, Straight to Your Door

Pilates Direct is Australian owned and operated. Free delivery on a premium reformer bed depends on where you live, so we explain exactly where it applies, starting with our featured model, the Pioneer Pilates PP-07.

What free delivery on a reformer bed actually covers

Three delivery options, depending on where you live

Free delivery on a reformer bed depends on your location. Pilates Direct offers three options, and each one suits a different address.

  • Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong: complimentary delivery and installation to all areas.
  • Metro NSW, VIC, SA and QLD: complimentary shipping to a freight depot.
  • Anywhere else, or to your door: a $150 flat-rate tailgate (curbside) delivery to a residential or business address, chosen at checkout.

Where extra charges can apply

WA, NT and TAS depot shipping may carry additional charges, and regional or rural depots cost extra. Rural and regional fees can also apply to tailgate delivery.

Trapeze and Cadillac models may attract extra delivery and installation charges because of their size and the time needed to set them up.

Check your delivery address and region before you order. It tells you straight away which option applies and whether any extra freight costs are likely.

Why the delivery type matters for a large item

Depot shipping means the reformer bed goes to a freight depot rather than your front door, so you will need to plan collection. Tailgate delivery brings it to your address, but it is curbside, so think about how you will move the boxes inside.

In Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong, installation is part of the service, so the heavy lifting and set-up are handled for you.

Meet the Pioneer Pilates PP-07 foldable reformer

The Pioneer Pilates PP-07 is a wooden foldable reformer bed built for home use, and it is the model we feature on this page.

It has a beechwood frame and 5 graded steel springs (2 heavy, 2 medium, 1 light). The foot bar is padded and sits in 6 positions, and adjustable carriage stoppers suit users of different heights.

A sitting box and 2 base wheels come in the package. The wheels make it easier to move, and it folds without any parts needing to be removed, so storing it between sessions is simple.

As with any reformer, proper form and qualified instruction matter, so we recommend learning the exercises with a trained instructor.

What to check before you order

Five checks will save you surprises at checkout. Work through them before you pay, and confirm anything unclear on the shipping and delivery page.

  • Your delivery address and region. Check which of the three delivery options covers your postcode, and whether WA, NT, TAS, regional or rural charges are likely.
  • Depot pickup or tailgate delivery. Depot shipping is free in eligible areas, but you collect from the depot. Tailgate delivery is a $150 flat rate to your door, chosen at checkout.
  • Trapeze and Cadillac models. These can attract extra delivery and installation charges because of their size and installation time.
  • The EOFY offer limits. Free shipping applies to items over $700 and is limited to one reformer per customer. Rural addresses may still incur extra charges.
  • Frame and spring quality. Check the frame material and the springs. The PP-07 uses a beechwood frame and 5 graded steel springs, and whichever model you choose, learn the exercises with qualified instruction.

How does the payment plan work with shipping?

The PP-07 payment plan starts with an $850 deposit, then 39 weekly payments of $45.37 over about nine months at 0% interest. The total comes to $2,619.50. Shipping is listed on that page as its own line, a cost "if applicable", so the figures above do not include it.

That wording matters, because the plan page does not state that delivery is free. Whether you pay for shipping depends on your address and the delivery option you choose, as set out above.

Confirm your shipping cost at checkout before you commit. That way you see the full amount for your postcode alongside the deposit and weekly payments.

Free delivery questions we hear most

Do regional and rural addresses pay extra?

They can. Regional and rural depots, plus WA, NT and TAS, may carry additional charges, and rural fees can apply to tailgate delivery too. Check your postcode with our team before you order.

Does the free shipping offer apply to every brand?

No. The EOFY free shipping offer is limited to items over $700, one reformer per customer, and some brands are excluded. Check the terms on the shipping and delivery page before you buy.

How does the PP-07 fold and store?

It folds without any parts needing to be lifted off or removed, and its 2 base wheels make it easy to move between sessions.

Should I choose depot shipping or tailgate delivery?

Depot shipping is free in metro areas but means you collect from a freight depot. Tailgate delivery is a $150 flat rate to your door, chosen at checkout. Pick the option that suits your vehicle, helpers and access.
