One frame, a wider range of work

A reformer with a tower gives a physio clinic spring-assisted push-through and pull options on a single frame. For a clinic owner, that means less floor space tied up and more variety for clients at different stages and abilities.

Positions and movements a tower adds

A pilates tower lets practitioners work across lying, seated, kneeling and standing positions. That supports spinal articulation, shoulder work, hip mobilisation and postural correction that a reformer on its own can't cover. Any programme should be set by a qualified practitioner, with medical clearance where relevant.

Why it suits a busy treatment room

Clinics tend to buy for throughput. One setup can serve several client needs through the day, and a full trapeze reformer in particular replicates a standalone Cadillac table, so you avoid buying and housing separate equipment.

A clinical reformer in a real treatment room

A clinical reformer needs a foot bar that moves with your clients, a carriage that is easy to get on and off, and a frame built for constant use. The Pioneer Pilates Clinical Full Track Reformer covers all three.

Its foot bar adjusts along the entire frame length, so you can set up positions to suit each person on the table. The 40cm carriage height makes transfers easier, and the wider frame gives clients a roomier feel.

Picture it in a treatment room with a tower fitted: a practitioner supervises each session and steps through the progressions. Use in rehabilitation depends on medical clearance and practitioner guidance, and proper form and qualified instruction matter on any reformer.

If you want another commercial option, the Motion Pilates MP-03 is marketed for physio clinics, with commercial-grade springs and durable upholstery.

Built for ten or more bodies a day

A clinic reformer works harder than a home one, so we supply commercial equipment and check it against this list before it reaches your treatment room:

  • Studio-grade, non-folding frames with higher weight capacity, so the reformer stays stable across clients of all sizes. Foldable and home models aren't designed for this daily load.
  • Commercial warranty terms, which we recommend over home-use cover for any clinic setting.
  • Commercial-grade springs and durable upholstery, such as those on the Motion Pilates MP-03.
  • Trusted brands, including Pioneer Pilates and Motion Pilates, from a full home and commercial range.
  • Australian owned and operated, with a Sydney showroom where you can try before you buy.

Full trapeze or half trapeze: which suits your clinic?

Full trapeze: maximum versatility

If your clinic wants one piece of equipment to cover a wide range of exercises, choose a full trapeze. It runs the entire length of the reformer, with attachment points at both the head and foot ends. That allows hanging exercises, supported inversions and work off the end of the carriage. The trade-off is space: it needs a minimum 220cm ceiling for hanging work.

Half trapeze: a lower-profile option

A half trapeze attaches at one end only, giving you tower-based spring and bar work without the overhead structure. It typically stands about 160-180cm, so the ceiling requirement doesn't apply. It still supports spinal mobilisation, shoulder work and assisted standing exercises in a physio setting.

The half trapeze reformer tower is built from brushed stainless steel with an automotive-grade finish. Contact areas are coated in sweat-resistant, easy-grip vulcanised rubber.

Check compatibility first

Half trapeze towers are generally designed for specific reformer models or frame configurations. Fit depends on your reformer's end-cap design and frame dimensions, so confirm compatibility before you buy.

Start with how you'll actually use it, then match the tower to your room. Always check the tower fits your reformer before you order.

Whichever you choose, proper form and qualified instruction matter, and clients returning from injury should have medical clearance where relevant.

Will it fit in your treatment room?

Many treatment rooms can take a reformer with tower. A full trapeze needs roughly 250cm x 70cm of floor space plus the 220cm ceiling for hanging exercises. Where the ceiling is lower, a half trapeze or a wall-mounted trapeze tower is the space-efficient alternative.

Tell us your room dimensions and caseload, and we'll recommend a setup to suit. We handle delivery and installation, then stay on for aftercare.

Questions clinic owners ask us

Can I add a tower to a reformer I already own?

Sometimes. Half trapeze towers are usually built for specific reformer models or frame configurations, so compatibility depends on your end-cap design and frame dimensions. Send us your model and we'll confirm before you buy.

Do spring and bar specifications differ between towers?

Yes. Spring counts and resistances vary by model, so check the specifications for the unit you're considering. A full tower typically includes push-through bars, roll-down bars, arm and leg springs and a trapeze bar.

Can a full trapeze replace a separate Cadillac table?

In most clinics, yes. A full trapeze setup replicates a standalone Cadillac, so you get that range on one footprint. Your practitioners should still decide which exercises suit each client, with medical clearance where relevant.
