Why buy a second hand reformer?

The risks of buying privately

A second hand reformer saves money, but a private sale leaves you carrying the risk. You rarely know how much wear the springs and carriage have had, there is nobody to ask when something feels off, and a heavy machine still has to be collected and set up.

Second Hand Pilates Reformers: Used & Demo Machines

Why used and demo stock from us is different

As an Australian owned and operated supplier, we handle the parts of a used purchase that private sellers can't. Our used and demo stock comes with expert advice, delivery and installation support, and aftercare once it's home. You get a quality machine at a lower price, with a team behind it.

Start with how you'll actually use it, then pick the reformer that fits your space and your budget. Used stock is a sensible way to do that.

A lower-risk way to start, and a second life for good gear

Going used is also a practical way to trial a Pilates reformer before a bigger purchase, and it gives a well-made machine a new home instead of leaving it unused. Proper form and qualified instruction matter on any reformer, new or used, so we always suggest learning with a qualified instructor.

Aero Pilates XP610: serviced and ready to ship

The second hand Aero Pilates XP610 is fully serviced and backed by a 1-month warranty. It ships Australia-wide with an ETA of 3-4 weeks, or you can collect it from our Castle Hill showroom.

Collecting means you can see the machine in person before it goes home or into your studio. Pictured units are demonstration models, so the condition of the reformer you receive may vary slightly.

Used and demo options you can browse

Here is what we currently list across used, demo and rental. Stock changes constantly, so check availability with the store first.

What to check before you buy used

Before you commit to a second hand reformer, confirm four things: that it has been serviced, what warranty applies, whether delivery reaches you, and what condition it is actually in. Ask for these in writing, or check the product page. The XP610 is fully serviced and carries a 1-month warranty, which is the standard we'd suggest you look for elsewhere too. Check delivery limits early. The XP610 can ship Australia-wide, while the ex-demo packages are Greater Sydney delivery or pickup only. Photos of demonstration models won't always match the unit you receive exactly, so ask about condition before you pay. Finally, verify the seller. A legitimate supplier should offer a genuine warranty, clear product specifications and real after-sales support. Once your reformer arrives, it's worth booking a session with an instructor. Calling the store to confirm availability is a good first step.

Second hand reformer questions

Does a second hand reformer come with a warranty?

Yes. The second hand Aero Pilates XP610 is fully serviced and carries a 1-month warranty, and the ex-demo packages carry the same. A private sale rarely offers that kind of backing.

How does delivery work?

The XP610 ships Australia-wide with an ETA of 3-4 weeks, or you can collect it from our Castle Hill showroom. Ex-demo packages are Greater Sydney delivery or pickup only.

Can I try one before I commit?

Used reformers are a practical way to trial a machine before a bigger purchase. We also offer a rental option on the Pioneer Pilates PP-07 Wooden Foldable Reformer.

Do I need clearance if I'm coming back from an injury?

Yes. Check with your doctor or physiotherapist first, and work with a qualified instructor so your form is right.
