Cadillac Tables for Cherrybrook Studios, Clinics and Homes
We're Pilates Direct, an Australian owned and operated supplier with a Sydney showroom where you can try a Cadillac table before you buy. We look after delivery and installation too, whether you're fitting out a studio, a clinic or a serious home practice in Sydney's north-west.

What is a Pilates Cadillac table?
A standalone apparatus with its own frame
A Cadillac table, also called a trapeze table, is a standalone apparatus with a raised padded bed and a full overhead frame. Springs, bars and straps attach at various points on that frame, and the whole unit works without a reformer base.
We supply Cadillac tables to studios, clinics and serious home practitioners in Cherrybrook and across Sydney's north-west.
How it differs from a reformer or tower
A full trapeze reformer builds the overhead frame onto a reformer carriage. A trapeze tower attaches to an existing reformer. A Cadillac is neither: it has its own padded table, and its springs work vertically and at angles rather than along a horizontal track.
That makes it a good fit for studios that already own a studio reformer and want dedicated apparatus sessions.
Why build quality matters
A Cadillac carries load from several directions, so the frame and joints do a lot of work. The Pioneer Pilates Cadillac has a stainless steel full trapeze tower with 16 carabine attachment points, and suits both commercial studios and home users.

What can you do on a Cadillac table?
Positions and the key series
A Cadillac table supports lying, seated, kneeling, standing and inverted work, all from one apparatus. The main series are leg springs, arm springs, push-through bar, roll-down bar and hanging trapeze, so a single session can move from gentle assisted stretching to demanding upper and lower body work.
Those 16 attachment points on the Pioneer's full frame let teachers tailor each exercise to the person on the table.
How the springs differ from a reformer
A reformer's springs pull horizontally along a moving carriage. On a Cadillac the springs work vertically and at angles, with attachment points at varying heights. Lighter arm springs suit upper body and standing work, while heavier leg springs suit lower body work and assisted stretching.
That is why many studios pair the two for a complete classical circuit.
Clinical and studio uses
Physiotherapists and teachers use the Cadillac for assisted movement, spinal decompression, hip work and shoulder mobilisation. If you are managing an injury, get clearance from a physiotherapist or doctor first.
Start with how you'll actually use it. A Cadillac rewards good instruction, so form and a qualified teacher matter as much as the equipment.

Cadillac tables we stock
We stock three Cadillac tables, and you can see them in person at our Sydney showroom, a straightforward trip from Cherrybrook. Try before you buy: lie on the padded bed, check the frame height and see how each build feels in the room.
The stainless steel and cast steel joint model pairs its frame with satin matte varnished wood. The Pioneer has stainless steel and 16 attachment points. The Motion combines Canadian Maplewood with black upholstery and includes the trapeze frame and attachments.
We'll talk through your ceiling height and floor space so the table suits your room, then handle delivery and installation and stay on hand for aftercare.

Check your space before you buy
Measure the room first. A standalone Cadillac table needs about 240cm x 80cm of floor space and 220cm or more of overhead clearance if you plan to use the hanging trapeze bar.
- Floor space: allow roughly 240cm x 80cm for the table itself, plus room to step around it and get on and off safely.
- Overhead frame: the frame reaches about 200 to 210cm, so confirm your ceiling height before you order.
- Hanging trapeze work: this needs 220cm or more of clearance above the table.
- Standard-height home ceilings: a half trapeze reformer may be the more practical choice. Our team can talk you through it, or you can compare both at our Sydney showroom.
- Teaching space: if you'll work with an instructor, leave room for them to move around the table.
Common questions about Cadillac tables
How much space and ceiling height does a Cadillac table need?
Plan for roughly 240cm x 80cm of floor space and 220cm or more of overhead clearance if you want to use the hanging trapeze bar. If your home has standard ceiling heights, a half trapeze reformer is often the more practical choice. Our team can help you work out which suits your room.
Is a Cadillac table suitable for beginners?
Cadillac tables are most commonly used by intermediate to advanced practitioners, in studios, clinics and teacher training. Beginners can certainly work on one, but proper form and a qualified instructor matter, especially with springs and overhead work. We're happy to talk through what suits your experience level.
Can I rent a Cadillac table before committing to buy?
Yes. We offer rent-to-own and payment plan options, and you can try equipment at our Sydney showroom before you decide. Ask us which arrangement fits your situation, and we'll confirm the current terms with you directly.
Do you handle delivery and installation?
Yes, we look after delivery and installation, so you aren't left assembling an overhead frame yourself. We also offer aftercare support once your table is in place. Let us know your access details and room layout when you enquire, and we'll plan around them.
I'm returning from an injury. Should I get clearance first?
Yes. Please check with your physiotherapist or doctor before using any Pilates equipment after an injury. We can talk you through how our tables are built and used, but we can't advise on your recovery or replace professional medical clearance.
