One piece of equipment, a wide range of programs
A Cadillac table, also called a trapeze table, earns its floor space because a single unit lets a practitioner run varied, graded, supervised exercise programs. Its raised padded table, trapeze bar and spring set-up support spinal, hip and shoulder work, as well as assisted movement for clients with limited range of motion.
That variety matters when you're weighing the spend. One table can serve many different clients across a day's schedule.
Dedicated apparatus sessions alongside your reformers
A standalone Cadillac has its own padded bed, independent of any reformer bed. That suits clinics that already own reformers and want to run dedicated apparatus sessions on a separate piece of kit, so one machine isn't doing every job.
A Cadillac works well alongside your reformers, not instead of them. Start with how your practitioners will use it, then match the table to that.
Pilates Direct Team, Pilates Reformer & Equipment Specialists
Many clinics pair the two to offer a complete circuit. Our Pioneer Pilates Cadillac table is widely used commercially and suits both fitness and rehabilitation settings.

Any rehabilitation work should follow medical clearance where relevant, and proper form and qualified instruction always matter.
Clinical uses we see most often
Physio clinics most often use a Cadillac table for four kinds of work, usually with intermediate to advanced practitioners. Clients recovering from injury should have clearance from their physiotherapist or doctor first.
- Spinal decompression: the raised padded table and overhead springs support traction-style and assisted spinal work.
- Hip rehabilitation: heavier leg springs allow controlled, supported lower body movement within supervised rehabilitation programs.
- Shoulder mobilisation: lighter arm springs suit gentle, graded upper body work.
- Assisted movement: the practitioner can support clients with limited range of motion through each exercise.
What to look for in a commercial-grade Cadillac
Cadillac tables typically come as a complete fit-out: a raised padded table with a push-through bar, roll-down bar, arm springs, leg springs, trapeze bar and push-down bar. For clinic use, check that the frame is stainless steel or similarly robust, the joints are solid, and the upholstery and timber will cope with constant cleaning and heavy daily use.
Spring set-up works differently from a reformer. Arm springs are lighter resistance, used for upper body and standing work. Leg springs are heavier, used for lower body and assisted stretching. Springs act vertically and at angles, so resistance is calibrated exercise by exercise rather than set once for a session.
That calibration is where qualified instruction matters, and we'd always encourage practitioners to work within their training. Our Pioneer Pilates Cadillac table, for example, has a stainless steel tower with 16 carabine attachment points for that flexibility.
Will a Cadillac table fit in your clinic?
Most clinics can fit one, provided the room has enough floor space and ceiling height. A standalone Cadillac table needs roughly 240cm x 80cm of floor space and 220cm or more of overhead clearance for hanging trapeze exercises, which is a little more than a pilates tower reformer would ask for.
The overhead frame itself reaches about 200-210cm, so ceiling height is the measurement that catches people out. Check it against the dimensions on the product page before you buy.
Once you've confirmed the room suits, we handle delivery and installation, so you aren't organising freight or assembly around your clinic's schedule. Aftercare support continues once the table is in use, and our team is on hand if questions come up.
Cadillac tables you can try at our Sydney showroom
We stock three Cadillac table options for clinics, each with its own build and finish. Visit the showroom to see them side by side and test the trapeze frame with your own practitioners in mind. If you'd like to spread the cost, rent-to-own, payment plans and used or demo stock are also available.
- Pioneer Pilates Cadillac table: a stainless steel full trapeze tower with 16 carabine attachment points, supporting a wide range of movements and personalised sessions. It is widely used commercially and suits fitness or rehabilitation settings.
- Pilates Cadillac: stainless steel with cast steel joints for strength and accuracy, paired with knot-free reforested wood in a satin matte varnish that resists moisture and scratches.
- Motion Pilates Cadillac Table: a Canadian Maplewood design with black upholstery. The package includes the Cadillac table, trapeze frame and trapeze attachments.
Common questions from physios
Does a Cadillac table suit a small clinic?
It can, provided the room allows for it. A standalone Cadillac needs about 240cm x 80cm of floor space and 220cm or more of overhead clearance, so check your ceiling height against the product dimensions first.
Can we try a unit before we buy?
Yes. Our Sydney showroom lets you try before you buy, so you can get a feel for the table and trapeze frame before committing.
Do you handle delivery, installation and aftercare?
We do. Delivery and installation are handled for you, and aftercare support continues once the table is in your clinic.
Can we rent-to-own or use a payment plan?
Both options are available for clinics. Ask us which suits your situation when you enquire.
Can the equipment be used for client rehabilitation?
A Cadillac is used in supervised rehabilitation programs, with medical clearance where relevant. Proper form and qualified instruction matter, and clients with an injury should be cleared by a physiotherapist or doctor first.
