Cadillac Table Under $5000
Cadillac Table Under $5000: What You Can Get and What to Check First
A full Cadillac table (also called a trapeze table) at this budget is realistic for a home or small studio. We're Australian owned and operated, with used and demo stock, rent-to-own and payment plan options, and delivery and installation support.
What a Cadillac table is and who it suits
A standalone apparatus with its own bed
A Cadillac table, also called a Cadillac trapeze table, is a standalone apparatus with a raised, padded bed and a full overhead frame. It doesn't need a reformer base. Springs, bars and straps attach to the frame, which gives you a wide range of low-impact movements on one piece of equipment.
People searching for a "Pilates Cadillac reformer" or "Cadillac reformer machine" are often after this same overhead-frame setup, but the two are different pieces of equipment. A Cadillac has no sliding carriage, and a reformer does. Our Cadillac table collection covers models for both studio and home use.
Who gets real value from one
Cadillac tables are mainly used in professional studios, physio clinics and teacher training, and they tend to suit intermediate to advanced users. Serious home practitioners with enough space and ceiling height can also get good value from one. If you're building out Pilates equipment for home use, a Cadillac is a long-term piece, so the budget is worth a considered look.
Start with how you'll actually use it, then pick the equipment that fits your space and your budget.

A complement to reformer work, not a replacement
A Cadillac is designed to sit alongside reformer training. Studios that already own a reformer bed often add one for dedicated apparatus sessions, which is how a typical studio Pilates Cadillac gets used.
As with any apparatus, proper form and qualified instruction matter. If you're returning from an injury, check with your physiotherapist or doctor before starting.
What to look for in a Cadillac at this price
Look for a rigid stainless steel frame, a full overhead trapeze tower, and plenty of attachment points for springs and straps. The Pioneer Pilates Cadillac table is a good example, with a stainless steel full trapeze tower and 16 carabine attachment points for a wide range of movements.

Picture it in the room: a raised, padded bed with the frame rising above it, and bars and springs clipped to the tower. Check that the frame feels solid, the padding is firm and the attachment points sit cleanly on the tower.
Brand names such as BASI Systems and Elina Pilates are often used as reference points for Cadillac design. At this budget, the useful comparison is build quality, attachment points and the included accessories, so check the specification of any model against the list below.
What most Cadillac tables include
Most Cadillac tables come with the same core set of components. Use this as a checklist when comparing any model at this budget.
- Push-through bar and roll-down bar: spring-resisted bars for spinal articulation and upper body work that a reformer's footbar doesn't offer.
- Arm springs and leg springs: adjustable Cadillac springs for supported, low-impact limb work from the raised bed.
- Trapeze bar: a hanging bar for suspended and traction-style movements, which is why overhead clearance matters. Trapeze bar Pilates work is a large part of what sets the Cadillac apart.
- Push-down bar: for controlled pressing work from above.
- A stable frame in durable materials, such as the stainless steel tower on the Pioneer, and enough attachment points for varied setups.
- Confirmed suitability for your setting: home or commercial studio.
Will a Cadillac fit in your home?
Check your ceiling height first
A full Cadillac table suits a home or small studio only if the room has a minimum of 220cm of overhead clearance. The frame typically stands around 200 to 210cm, and you need extra height above it for the full exercise range, especially the hanging trapeze bar.
Measure from floor to ceiling before you buy, then compare that figure with the product dimensions on the page. Check for light fittings, ceiling fans and sloped sections too.
Allow room around the frame
Leave space on all sides to move around the apparatus and to get on and off safely. If you are unsure, bring your measurements to our Sydney showroom and we can talk through how the layout would work in your room.
A practical option for standard ceilings
Many homes have ceilings below that mark. In that case, a half trapeze reformer can be a more practical choice. It gives you spring-based bar and strap work without the spatial demands of a full Cadillac. Proper form and qualified instruction matter, particularly with overhead work.
Cadillac, trapeze tower or reformer: which suits your budget?
Four options, four different fits
The right choice depends on your ceiling height, your floor space and whether you already own a reformer. We help you match the equipment to your space and training context before you commit.
- Full Cadillac table: standalone, with a raised padded bed and overhead frame. Suited to studios, clinics or serious home practitioners with the space.
- Trapeze tower: attaches to a reformer you already own, so it suits buyers who have the base and want to add overhead work.
- Half trapeze reformer: mounts to the end of a reformer, which suits standard ceilings and smaller rooms.
- Full trapeze reformer: the overhead frame and carriage in one unit, handy if you want a single machine.
A lower-cost home option
If a Cadillac is out of reach for now, the Motion Pilates Metal Folding reformer is a compact place to start, and a Pilates reformer under 5000 leaves room in the budget for accessories. It has 90cm of carriage travel, five springs, a four-position footbar and wheels, and it tucks away between sessions.

Spreading the cost
We offer payment plans, rent-to-own and used or demo stock, so you can spread the cost rather than pay it all at once. As an Australian owned and operated supplier, we can talk through which setup suits your budget. Whichever you choose, we suggest learning under a trained instructor.
