Cadillac Table Weight Capacity
Cadillac Table Weight Capacity: What to Check Before You Buy
Weight capacity is set model by model, so we confirm the rated figure for each Cadillac table before you buy, whether it's for home or studio use. Enquire online or visit our Sydney showroom and try before you buy.

How much weight can a Cadillac table hold?
Capacity depends on the model and brand
There is no single weight capacity for every Cadillac table. The rated figure differs between designs, so the number that matters is the one on the product listing for the exact table you are considering. We don't quote a figure here that we can't verify against that listing.
Our three Cadillac tables are built differently, and those differences are worth understanding before you compare ratings.
Why structure and materials matter
A Cadillac table carries more than body weight. The raised table surface, the overhead frame and the springs all take load, and the load changes direction as springs pull vertically and at angles. A stronger frame and sturdier joints give a table more margin.
The first model uses a stainless steel structure with cast steel joints, with knot-free reforested wood finished to resist moisture and scratches. The Pioneer has a stainless steel full trapeze tower with 16 carabine attachment points. The Motion is a Canadian Maplewood design supplied with its trapeze frame and attachments.
Start with who will be on the table and how often, then check the rated capacity on that specific listing. It's a fast way to choose with confidence.

Home and boutique versus commercial-grade
As a general guide, home and boutique pieces suit typical adult bodyweights with a safety margin. Commercial-grade pieces carry higher rated capacities for heavier or more frequent use, such as a busy studio reformer setup or clinics. Proper form and qualified instruction matter on any Cadillac table, whatever its rating.
Your pre-purchase checklist for load rating
Before you commit, work through these points and check each against the figure on the product listing.
- Published maximum user weight. Each model has its own rating on its listing. Confirm the figure for the exact table you are considering.
- Your heaviest regular user. Compare that person's weight with the rated figure, not just the owner's, especially if clients or family will share the table.
- Frequency of use. A table in daily studio use works harder than one used a few times a week at home, so match the build to the workload.
- Frame and tower. Look at how the model is built, such as the cast steel joints on one model or the Pioneer's 16-point trapeze tower, and ask us how that relates to its rating.
- Floor and ceiling space. Allow about 240cm x 80cm of floor and 220cm or more of overhead clearance. Confirm the frame height against the product dimensions.
- Form and instruction. Rated capacity assumes correct set-up and use, so qualified instruction matters for every user.
Home use versus commercial studio use
The right Cadillac table depends on who uses it and how often. A home or boutique setup suits occasional, single-user sessions. Professional studios, physiotherapy clinics and teacher training facilities usually need commercial-grade construction, such as the Pioneer Pilates Cadillac table, which suits both settings.
