Cadillac Table with Push Through Bar

Cadillac Tables with a Push-Through Bar

A standalone Cadillac table with a push-through bar puts a full trapeze apparatus into one piece of equipment. We're Australian owned and operated, and we help you choose, finance and set up the right one for your studio or home.

A standalone apparatus with its own frame

A Cadillac table with a push through bar is a self-contained piece of equipment: a raised, padded table with a full overhead frame built around it. In most models that frame houses the push-through bar, roll-down bar, arm springs, leg springs, trapeze bar and push-down bar, all in one unit.

Our range runs from the Pioneer Pilates Cadillac table, with its 16 carabine attachment points, to the Motion Pilates Cadillac table, and covers both studio and home use.

What push-through bar work involves

The push-through bar is a sprung bar you press, pull and control through a range of positions. Work on it sits alongside leg springs, arm springs, roll-down bar and hanging trapeze exercises, across lying, seated, kneeling, standing and inverted positions.

Start with how you'll actually use it. A Cadillac rewards good instruction, so it pays to learn the bar work properly before you progress.

A note on form and clearance

Cadillac work suits intermediate to advanced practitioners well, and proper form and qualified instruction matter on every exercise. If you're recovering from an injury, check with your physiotherapist or doctor before you start.

Cadillac tables we stock

We stock three Cadillac tables: Pioneer Pilates, our premium option and Motion Pilates. Use the points below to compare them.

How the springs and bars work together

On a Cadillac table, springs run vertically and at angles from the overhead frame, which sets them apart from the horizontal spring system on a reformer. The push-through bar, roll-down bar, trapeze bar and push-down bar all attach to those springs, so you can change the direction and feel of each exercise.

Arm springs are lighter and suit upper body and standing work. Leg springs are heavier, built for lower body exercises and assisted stretching. Together they support lying, seated, kneeling, standing and inverted positions on one apparatus, as described on our Cadillac tables collection.

Spring choice, setup and positioning all matter, so we recommend qualified instruction.

Who a Cadillac table suits, and who might prefer a trapeze reformer

Who gets value from a Cadillac table

A standalone Cadillac table suits professional studios, physiotherapy clinics and teacher training facilities. It complements reformer training rather than replacing it, so it fits studios that already own reformers and run dedicated apparatus sessions.

Clinics often use it for assisted movement and mobilisation work. Exercise selection and suitability for any client should come from a qualified instructor.

When a trapeze reformer makes more sense

For a home studio, a trapeze reformer often suits better. It gives you overhead spring work on a single machine, without a second large piece of equipment. There are four setups to compare:

  • Trapeze tower: attaches to an existing reformer.
  • Half trapeze: mounts to the end of a reformer, a good match for standard ceilings. See our half trapeze reformer range.
  • Full trapeze reformer: integrates the overhead frame onto the carriage.
  • Full Cadillac table: a standalone unit with its own raised padded bed and the complete set of springs and bars.

Choosing between them

If you teach groups or clients on separate apparatus, the Cadillac earns its floor space. If you practise at home and want variety from one machine, a trapeze reformer is usually the simpler path.

Will a Cadillac table fit in your space?

A standalone Cadillac table needs about 240cm x 80cm of floor space and 220cm or more of overhead clearance for hanging trapeze work. The overhead frame typically stands 200-210cm high, so check your ceiling before you commit.

If you are unsure, we will work through your room with you and recommend a suitable setup. Our Sydney showroom lets you try before you buy, so you can see how a Cadillac table sits in real space.

We handle delivery and installation, then stay on for aftercare.

Cadillac table questions

How much space and ceiling height do I need?

Allow about 240cm x 80cm of floor space and 220cm or more of overhead clearance for hanging trapeze work. Measure your room before you order.

Is a Cadillac table suitable for home as well as commercial use?

Yes, our range suits both. Studios, clinics and teacher training facilities are the best fit. Home studios with standard ceilings may prefer a half trapeze reformer, and our team can help you compare.

Can I rent-to-own, and do you deliver and install?

We offer rent-to-own and payment plan options, plus delivery, installation and aftercare support. Contact us for current terms. Studio fit-out packages are also available on request.

Can I use a Cadillac table while recovering from an injury?

Please get clearance from your physiotherapist or doctor first. Proper form and qualified instruction matter on any apparatus, especially push-through bar and hanging trapeze work.
