Pilates Cadillac Sydney
Pilates Cadillac in Sydney: see it, try it, then buy or rent
Pilates Direct is an Australian owned and operated supplier of Cadillac (trapeze) tables for studios, clinics and serious home users. Try one at our Castle Hill showroom, with delivery and installation across Greater Sydney handled for you.
What is a Pilates Cadillac?
A Cadillac, also called a trapeze table, is a standalone apparatus: a raised, padded table with a full overhead frame. It needs no reformer base to work. Most models carry a push-through bar, roll-down bar, arm springs, leg springs, trapeze bar and push-down bar on that frame.
Because everything is built into the one piece, a Cadillac supports lying, seated, kneeling, standing and inverted positions. Studio owners tend to add one for dedicated apparatus sessions, while home users often choose it for variety beyond a reformer bed.
Start with how you'll actually use it, then pick the piece that fits your space. A Cadillac is a good fit when you want more variety from one frame.
Pilates Direct Team, Pilates Reformer & Equipment Specialists
As with any apparatus, proper form and qualified instruction matter, so learn the exercises with a trained instructor.
How is a Cadillac different from a trapeze reformer?
A Cadillac is a separate, standalone table, while a full trapeze reformer joins the overhead tower to a reformer carriage in one machine.
That difference shapes how you use the space. A cadillac table suits studios and clinics that run dedicated apparatus sessions apart from reformer classes. A trapeze reformer suits spaces that want both pieces of equipment in one footprint.
Three Cadillac tables to compare in Sydney
We stock three Cadillac tables: the fine wood and brushed stainless steel model, the Pioneer and the Motion. Each is a standalone table, so you can compare them side by side at our Castle Hill showroom rather than from photos alone.
The first is built from fine wood and brushed stainless steel, and is positioned for strength and durability. The Pioneer is a stainless steel full trapeze tower with 16 carabine attachment points, suited to commercial studios and home users.
The Motion has adjustable footbar and springbar systems, plus a rail structure with multiple carriage stopper holes to extend or limit range of motion.
If you're planning a fuller setup, you can also look at our reformers, chairs and barrels while you're there. We're happy to talk through what suits your space and your teaching or practice.

What you can do on a Cadillac
A Cadillac lets you work in five positions and run several classic series on one standalone table. Good form and qualified instruction matter on every one of them.
- Positions: lying, seated, kneeling, standing and inverted.
- Key series: leg springs, arm springs, push-through bar, roll-down bar and hanging trapeze work.
- Spinal decompression: used by instructors and clinicians in structured programming.
- Hip and shoulder work: hip rehabilitation and shoulder mobilisation, led by a qualified professional.
- Assisted movement: support for clients with limited range of motion.
- If you are returning from injury, please get clearance from your physiotherapist or doctor before using a Cadillac.
Delivery, installation and studio fit-outs in Sydney
We ship Cadillac tables nationwide, and across the Greater Sydney region we handle delivery and installation too, so a heavy frame arrives and is set up without you wrangling it yourself. That applies whether it's going into a spare room or a treatment space at a clinic.
Studio owners and businesses can buy through our commercial packages, which we arrange by phone rather than through an online checkout. That lets us talk through your floor plan and equipment mix before anything is ordered.
We also have a limited number of ex-demo models, covered by a 1 month warranty. These are available for pickup or delivery within Greater Sydney only.
We're Australian owned and operated, so the people who sell your equipment are the same people who look after it afterwards.
Which Cadillac is right for my space?
Which Cadillac suits a home, and which suits a studio?
It depends on how the table will be used and how often. The Pioneer is described as suited to both commercial studios and home users, while the fine wood and brushed stainless steel build is positioned for strength and durability. For studio fit-outs, we handle commercial packages by phone.
Do I need a reformer as well?
No. A Cadillac is a standalone table with its own overhead frame, so it needs no reformer base. Cadillacs tend to suit studios and clinics running dedicated apparatus sessions.
Can I try one before I buy?
Yes. Our Castle Hill showroom lets you see the tables in person and compare models. Visiting details are below.
Is delivery available, and do you offer rent-to-own?
