Reformer Cadillac Combo
Reformer and Cadillac Combo: One Machine, Two Ways to Train
A reformer cadillac combo puts a Pilates reformer and a Cadillac frame (also called a trapeze table) in one machine. As an Australian owned and operated supplier, we'll help you decide between a combo and separate machines, then buy or rent with delivery and installation support.
A reformer cadillac combo is a full trapeze reformer: a Pilates reformer bed with a complete overhead tower running its full length. It joins carriage-based spring resistance with the hanging, spring and bar work of a Cadillac frame, so you get both apparatus in one.
Compared with a standalone reformer, the tower gives you a second way to train on the same footprint. That makes it a practical choice for home users with limited space, and for studios that want both functions without buying and housing two machines.
If you're returning from injury, check with your physiotherapist or doctor before using one. Proper form and qualified instruction matter on any apparatus.
See a combo in person at our Sydney showroom
The difference between a combo and a standalone Cadillac is easier to judge in person. A full trapeze reformer builds the overhead tower onto a reformer carriage, so both functions share one frame. A Cadillac on its own has no carriage at all.
At our Sydney showroom you can try before you buy: see how a combo is put together, feel the finish and hardware, and compare it with a standalone Cadillac such as the Motion Pilates package.

Who suits a combo and who suits separate machines
Here is how we usually point people, based on what they already own and how they plan to use the space.
- Studios wanting reformer and Cadillac in one: a full trapeze reformer gives you carriage-based resistance and overhead tower work on a single frame, so you set up one apparatus instead of two.
- Home users short on space: one combo takes up less room than a reformer and a separate Cadillac, provided you have the floor area and ceiling height.
- Studios that already own reformers: a standalone Cadillac adds trapeze work without replacing what you have.
- Purpose-built clinical use: we offer a separate clinical reformers package to sit alongside the full trapeze setup. Any client returning from injury should get clearance from their physiotherapist or doctor first.
Standalone Cadillac options we stock
Two Cadillac tables for home or studio
If you already own a reformer, a standalone Cadillac is the simpler route, and we stock two. Each is a separate apparatus with no carriage, so it sits alongside your existing machines rather than replacing them.
Motion Pilates Cadillac Table
The Motion Pilates package includes the Cadillac table, a trapeze frame and trapeze attachments. It comes in a Canadian Maplewood finish with black upholstery and attachments, so it suits a neat, clean-lined studio or home space.
Pilates Cadillac Table in Fine Wood and Stainless Steel
The second Cadillac table is built from fine wood and brushed stainless steel, which gives it its strength and durability. The timber is reforested for sustainable sourcing, and the table is currently listed as in stock.
What happens once you choose
Picking the machine is only part of it. We recommend equipment to suit your space and level of experience, then look after delivery, installation and aftercare, so you are not left working out the setup alone.
Start with how you'll actually use it, then pick the setup that fits your space and your budget. We'll sort the delivery and installation from there.

Common questions about reformer and Cadillac setups
Does a reformer cadillac combo replace two machines?
For many studios, yes. A full trapeze reformer puts the reformer carriage and the overhead tower on one frame, so you get both functions in one footprint. If you already own reformers, a standalone Cadillac may suit you better.
Does a Cadillac work for home use?
It can, if you have the room. A Cadillac is a large piece of equipment, so measure your floor space and ceiling height first. Our team can talk through your layout, and you can see the machines in our Sydney showroom.
Is a combo suitable for different fitness levels?
The springs and bars can be set up in different ways, so people at different levels can use the same machine. Proper form and qualified instruction matter on any Pilates equipment, so we recommend working with a trained instructor.
Can I use one for rehabilitation after an injury?
Please speak to your physiotherapist or doctor for clearance first. We can't make medical or rehabilitation claims about any equipment. For purpose-built clinical use, we also offer a separate clinical reformers package.
Do you offer rental, payment plans and delivery?
Yes. We offer rent-to-own and payment plan options, plus delivery, installation and aftercare support. Terms depend on the product, so confirm the details with the Pilates Direct team before you commit.
Where can I find the buyers' guide or demo reformers?
Both sit alongside our trapezes collection. Our buyers' guide covers what to consider before you buy, and our second-hand and demo reformers are listed in their own collection.
Not sure which setup fits your space?
Tell us about your space, whether it's a studio or a home, and whether you already own a reformer. The Pilates Direct team will point you to the right setup, whether that's a combo, a standalone Cadillac or a second-hand or demo reformer.
