What our installation service covers

Installation for Greater Sydney customers

If you're in the Greater Sydney region, the Pilates Direct team delivers your Pilates tower, brings it inside and assembles it for you. That means frames bolted together, springs and straps fitted, and the unit set up where you want it, whether that's a spare room, a garage or a studio floor.

A Pilates tower is heavy and spring-loaded, so a stable, correctly assembled setup is the sensible starting point. It also means you can focus on using it with proper form and qualified instruction, rather than wondering if something is bolted up properly.

A tower should feel solid underfoot and overhead from the first session. Having it assembled and fixed properly is what lets you settle in and use it with confidence.

Pilates Direct Team, Pilates Reformer & Equipment Specialists

What nationwide customers receive instead

Outside Greater Sydney, we ship Australia-wide. Orders such as a foldable pilates reformer arrive in a wooden crate by tailgate truck, delivered to the kerb. Two physically capable people are needed to accept the crate, and moving it inside is your responsibility. Much of our equipment also ships needing some assembly, so check the tools and time you'll need before delivery day.

Installation versus kerbside delivery

The difference comes down to who does the heavy lifting and the setup. With kerbside delivery, you move and assemble the equipment yourself. With our Pilates tower installation service, we handle both, and we remain available afterwards through our aftercare support.

Wall-mounted towers and Cadillac tables we install

We install two main tower styles: the Motion Pilates wall-mounted spring board and the Pioneer Cadillac table. Once your order is confirmed, the Pilates Direct team books a delivery window, brings the equipment to your home or studio, and sets it up in the spot you've chosen.

The wall-mounted spring board has a Canadian Maplewood base and fixes to the wall. It comes with a push through bar, roll bar, spring sets and hand straps, so everything is fitted together on the day.

The Pioneer Cadillac has a stainless steel full trapeze tower with 16 carabine attachment points. We assemble the frame, fit the springs and straps, and position it in your space. Proper form and qualified instruction matter on both.

How to prepare your space before installation day

A few quick checks before the Pilates Direct team arrives will keep installation day simple. Measure each item below against the space you plan to use, whether that is a home or studio.

  • Overhead clearance: allow 220cm or more of ceiling height for a full trapeze or a Cadillac used with hanging trapeze bar exercises.
  • Floor space: a standalone Cadillac table typically takes up about 240cm x 80cm, so mark that out on the floor first.
  • Half trapeze height: a half trapeze tower extends to roughly 160-180cm, so the strict 220cm ceiling requirement does not apply.
  • Wall fixing: a wall-mounted tower needs a wall that can take a secure fixing and enough clearance for spring-loaded arm and leg work.
  • Space between pieces: in a multi-apparatus layout, leave room for full range of motion and for an instructor to move around each piece safely.
  • Access to the room: outside our Greater Sydney installation service, goods arrive in a wooden crate by tailgate truck and moving them inside is your responsibility, so plan a clear path and two capable people.

Why professional installation matters for towers

Because a Pilates tower is spring-loaded, it has to be assembled and fixed correctly. That's why we handle delivery and installation for Greater Sydney customers, including the secure wall fixing a wall-mounted tower needs.

Compatibility is the other piece. Towers and half trapeze attachments are often designed around specific studio reformer frame dimensions and end-cap designs, so the Pilates Direct team confirms the fit with you before you buy.

It also helps to know how warranty is usually split: structural parts such as the frame and overhead bar or tower are typically covered by the manufacturer's warranty, while springs and soft goods may have separate coverage. Proper form and qualified instruction still matter once your tower is up.

Fitting out a studio, physio clinic or gym

We plan and supply commercial fit-outs for studios, physio clinics and gyms, drawing on work across 500 studio, physio and gym fitouts. As an Australian owned and operated business with a full range for home and commercial use, we can lay out multiple apparatus so each piece has room for full range of motion and safe instructor access.

You can try equipment at our Sydney showroom first. Rent-to-own from $39 per week, payment plans and used or demo stock help spread the cost. Our commercial packages are quoted on request.

Common questions about tower installation

Do you install Pilates towers outside Sydney?

Personalised delivery and installation is offered across the Greater Sydney region. Customers elsewhere in Australia are covered by nationwide shipping, which is delivered to the kerb, so moving the goods inside is up to you. Our team can talk through what that means for your address.

Do you install in homes and commercial spaces?

Yes. We handle wall-mounted towers and freestanding Cadillac tables for both a home or studio, and we offer commercial packages for fit-outs.

What ceiling height does a tower need?

A full trapeze setup needs at least 220cm of overhead clearance. A half trapeze tower extends to roughly 160 to 180cm, so the strict 220cm requirement does not apply to it.

Will a tower fit my existing reformer?

Not always. Towers and half trapeze attachments are often designed around specific reformer frame dimensions and end-cap designs, so confirm compatibility with us before you buy.

What if my space turns out to be unsuitable?

Tell us your ceiling height and floor space before you order. We can point you towards an option that suits the room, such as a wall-mounted tower where floor space is tight but there is overhead clearance.

Is aftercare included, and what about injuries?

We provide aftercare support once your equipment is installed. If you are returning from an injury, please get clearance from your doctor or physiotherapist first, and learn correct form with a qualified instructor.
